FREE TIME

Our Spanish language schools in Ecuador organizes several week and weekend activities. In the Galapagos after classes you can participate in optional free activities such as: swimming or sun bathing at one of the numerous beaches, visit caves, the Darwin Centre, hike up a volcano, rent a bike, learn to salsa dance, explore the art galleries. You may simply wish to just relax and chat over cocktails or coffee at one of the many street cafes. On the weekends we have organized boat excursions visting one or two islands.

In Quito and Otavalo we have similar activities. what most students rave about are the evening activities and weekend excursions where students get the chance to relax, get to know their classmates, practice their Spanish, and explore Ecuador. All activities and excursions start from Quito or Otavalo.

Weekdays at our school in Quito:

During the week we organize cooking classes, free salsa lessons, and other mini trips, including going to the cinema to see Spanish films, visiting local museums in the New Town of Quito or touring the cathedrals and culture of the Old Town.

Our Spanish learning school in Quito offer salsa lessons to our students for free and for other activities students pay the costs, which range between just US$1 and US$5 per student, per activity.

Weekends (activities leave from our school in Quito):

We love to explore and to show others this magnificent country so we provide different weekend excursions every week to the rainforest, volcanoes, cloud forests, beach, and many more sites of outstanding beauty or interest.

Our Spanish language schools in Ecuador are proud of themselves for finding locations away from the usual "tourist traps". In the past these trips have included trekking in the Cotopaxi Reserve, trekking and horseback riding in the Andes and rafting in the cloud forests of Mindo.

Students pay at cost, between US$20 and US$70 per person, per excursion. The trips are typically all weekend-excursions therefore hotels, food, transportation and activities are included in these prices.
