GALAPAGOS ISLANDS - CRUISES

For almost 20 years we have been booking Galápagos cruises for our students. Since we know all the boats and operators we can find a tailor made cruise for you. And further more, we get great discounts for you, our valued student. Take advantage of this, the Galápagos Islands will offer you the experience of a lifetime.

Most cruises are organized in such a way that you sleep on board, travel between the islands at night and walk on the islands during the day.

This way you see much more and you are able to travel further a field - travelling by day wastes a lot time.

There are five classes of boats: economic, tourist, tourist-superior, first and luxury. The length of trips vary from 8 days, 5 days or as short as 4 days. We recommend in order to fully appreciate the Galápagos Islands you should try to book a trip of 8 days - this would allow you to gain a reasonable understanding of the diversity of the islands. Prices range from $350.00 for a 4 day trip on a economic class boat to $3000.00 for a 8 day trip on a luxury boat.

Your cruise rate includes food; accommodation; transfers to/from the boat; guiding and shore visits. Your cruise rate does not include the park entrance fee: at the moment $110.00; air fare to/from the islands $410.-; snorkeling equipment on most boats; life and accident insurance; gratuities to the crew ($20-30.00 per person); any alcoholic beverages or soft drinks. Prices subject to change.

Dear Eugenio,

First of all many thanks for everything you made possible an excellent experience in your country. Especially the week in the Indian Community close to Otavalo with Spanish classes and with the Indigenas was a wonderful experience. The accommodation in the lovely decorated cabana with open fireplace and private bathroom (even with hot water!) was great. The family was so kind and friendly that I felt like home, even it was so different from home. If anyone ist interested in the culture of ecuadorian Indigenas, this is a great opportunity to combine with a Spanish language course. You really share life with the familiy within the comunidad, which means, you go for planting and harvesting, you learn to cook and to eat a very healthy kitchen. In the center of the comunidad you join the meetings, that might be a course to learn how to make the typical espandrillas, or you watch the training for a traditional dance or even after a Minga I shared the meal which was celebrated for all the working people at the center. My week was full of unique experiences I wouldn`t miss. And every day my teacher give me professional lessons. Many thanks - and puede ser: hasta luego!
Muchos saludos,
